This is beautiful Sarah! Such a powerful poem. I like the background you chose too.
I strongly suggest you use instrumental music. The lyrics in the song interfere with the words in the poem. Reading words and listening to lyrics at the same time causes cognitive dissonance and prevents the viewer from paying full attention to the words of the poem.
How did you get your PowerPoint in the form of a movie that you could upload from your computer rather than using AuthorStream?
Your Illuminated text made me think about.... having the same background throughout the illuminated text may be more powerful than changing the slides. This would make the words stand out more.
You should consider changing/adding/taking out.... Some of the slides switched too quickly and I wasn't able to read all the texts. You might want to add more slides and put less text or lines on each slide.
What I like best about your Illuminated Text is.... I like the background and the music you chose. It encouraged emotion before the words started.
Your Illuminated text made me think about how life rushes by while time is endless upon death.
You should consider changing/adding/taking out.... I would continue the music throughout the slides. I felt it really set the mood. Also, in slide 5, your text box may need to be moved over to the right some so the word "we" is not cut off when the animations start.
What I like best about your Illuminated Text is.... The music and tranquil background really set the melancholy mood of the poem. Excellent job. :)

Your Illuminated text made me feel super calm and relaxed. Not sure if it was the music or the background image or the combination. You should consider changing the font size on some of the slides where the text moves because it doesn't go completely off of the slide. If it were smaller, it may still "move" but not partially disappear. What I like best about your Illuminated Text is the music and the pace.
Your text made me think I was dreaming this amazing dream about peace. I think you should consider changing the appearance of the text, make it more readable.
